Hirant Bicakci, BDS, DDS, received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Marmara, Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul, Turkey. He engaged in private dental practice for almost three years before he decided to continue his studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He then entered an additional three year postdoctoral training program in in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at University of Illinois at Chicago and received his post-doctorate specialty certificate after completing his studies. During his residency, Dr. Bicakci presented his case studies at the Nobel Biocare World Conference.
Dr. Bicakci is an active member of the professional community. He holds memberships in the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Prosthodontic Society.
Dr. Nihal and Hirant Bicakci have been married for over ten years and reside in Chicago with their two boys.
