Nihal Bicakci, BDS, DDS, received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Marmara, Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul, Turkey. She engaged in private dental practice for almost three years before she decided to continue her studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She served as a Clinical Instructor for a period of one year before she decided to specialize in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed three additional years of post-graduate training in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry and received a post-doctorate specialty certificate. During her residency, Dr. Bicakci presented a literature review presentation at the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics annual meeting.
Dr. Bicakci is an active member of the professional community. She holds memberships in the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Prosthodontic Society.
Dr. Nihal and Hirant Bicakci have been married for over ten years and reside in Chicago with their two boys.
